SMM-COGIC Gentlemen
COGIC Gentlemen helps to develop personal power traits that promote and project young men in social and professional relationships in the home, society and church.

It is used to enlighten life management skills which bring positive results through the application of biblical principles and to explore the dynamics of spiritual truth as it relates to a rewarding and enriching lifestyle. COGIC Genetlemen equips young men with the tools to become confident, well-rounded, skillful leaders.

SMM-Math Olympiad
The Mathematics Olympiad is open to all youth in grades 3 through 12.  Students with a strong background in mathematics are encouraged to participate. Calculators are not permitted in Level I and Level II competitions. Please note that Levels III, IV, and V participants are encouraged to bring and use their own calculators. All youth participating must enroll for the AIM Math Olympiad by the required deadline.  Each student is encouraged to compete in the daily (Tuesday & Wednesday) competition to best prepare them to excel in the national Math Olympiad. Each participant will be assigned to the appropriate age/grade level and category of the competition.  Each round will be given an allotted time for the exercises.  There will be a variety of mathematical exercises measuring basic operations in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and word problems.

SMM-Oratorical/Public Speaking
The The Scholastic Motivations Oratorical Competition gives participants an opportunity to develop leadership skills, the ability to think and speak clearly and intelligently focus on specific subject matter.
Our goal is to introduce participants to suggested speech formats which equip them to present subject matter to powerfully impact the emotions of hearers. To develop language awareness skills focusing on diction, grammar and articulation, as well as skill in delivery and stage presence.

What we offer In our Robotics program is based on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics,) is designed to provide opportunities for skill-building based on development level. We want to help our next generation get to the level of innovation with the power of technology where inventions never end.
You will have the most fun ever! Your team will build and program a robot to complete a series of maneuvers that help to solve problems related to our Mission to Mars.Bible Lessons to help guide our talented young people are found in the book, Bible Lessons for Techies. Click on the book to the right access. This book connects the Word of God to Technology that you can use along with your Robotics Missions. Then on Competition Day your team will have 2.5 minutes to earn points to complete as many of the missions as possible. Your Team can also complete the Research Project with an Essay, Video or Poster Board.

The Bible Bowl is a competition between teams ( offering representing individual churches or jurisdictions over knowledge a pre-determined section of the Bible.

Our objective is to provide the platform for young people of the Church Of God In Christ to demonstrate their abilities. Specifically, competition will give team members opportunity to enhance communication skills and to think reflectively promoting a cooperative team spirit. It will also serve as a motivating factor for genuine and systematic Bible study and raise awareness of the history and doctrine of the Church Of God In Christ.

The competition has both junior and senior teams. Junior team members range in age from 5 to 15 years, while senior team members are 16 to 22 years old. Team members must meet specific age requirements by the start of the competition.

The target group for his category is youth between the ages of 8 and 22.

Youth must be at least 13 years of age to be eligible to run for an office in the SMM VILLAGE.

We will be celebrating our National Director, Superintendent David Todd Whittley for 20 years of Leadership in SMM. Ten of those years as the COGIC Gentlemen's National Ministry Coordinator.

This will also be a historic joint meeting between COGIC Gentlemen and the Young Men of Valor!
